COVID-19 Updates

There are currently no in-person worship services due to COVID-19, but please join us every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. for online worship via YouTube!

A note from Pastor Mike:

Friends in Christ,

A few months ago, the In-Person Worship Team published an update regarding the metrics we’d like to see before returning to in-person worship.  To remind you, we would like to see significant decreases over 14 days in the numbers of covid-19 cases, hospitalization rates, and positivity rates in the county and state. Recent trends in this direction lead us to be cautiously optimistic about moving towards in-person worship.
While we have not set a specific date for returning to in-person worship, we are working diligently on plans to open worship safely.  We are talking with others who have experienced opening venues during the pandemic and reviewing guidelines from the CDC and the governor’s office.  We are also working to acquire the equipment, training, and policies needed to make this transition.

Our commitment is to the glory of God and to the safety of our congregants and community.  We are also committed to offering you a choice between worshiping in person or at home online.  We will continue to livestream worship and offer worship on television even when we open our sanctuary.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and prayers as we try to navigate as safely and faithfully as we can.  Stay tuned for more specific updates from us soon.

Team members are: Brandi Dickey, Emily Hanson, Sally Roden, Kayla White, Art Gillaspy, Geoff Ryken, Dan Turner, and Pastor Mike
